Shannon Pyle
Year of MA/PhD: First year M.A. student in Hispanic Linguistics
Shannon has lived in Lubbock since first attending Texas Tech University for her B.A. in Spanish, which she completed in 2021. During her time as an undergraduate student, she studied abroad with the Texas Tech campus in Seville, Spain and it was there she first began to consider a career working with the Spanish language. She is currently working as a Teaching Assistant in CMLL while pursuing her M.A. in Hispanic Linguistics.

Sociolinguistics, Bilingualism, Translation Studies, Gender Studies, SLA, and Spanish as a Heritage Language
